Good question, but know one really knows. Biologically all we are meant to do is reproduce to pass on our genes. But there must be more to it than this! I’d say the meaning of life is to have fun and try to do something that you love and never take things too seriously. Either that or the answer is 42.
I’ve been thinking. I’ve been thinking about this for a long time before you asked the question, but it’s interesting to see my thoughts written down.
I’m not a religious person. I don’t happen to believe in any of the gods that humanity had proposed over the last few millenia. So I don’t think there is anything supernatural beyond the earth to give our lives meaning. So, the only meaning our lives have is that which we give them ourselves. I think we need to make our own moral choices, but they don’t need to be handed down from any form of deity.
