      Hi Luke,

      Michael J Fox has an early onset form of the disease. Most people with Parkinson’s disease don’t become ill until they are in their 60s. Michael developed symptoms when he was 30 🙁 Usually people who get this disease so young have a genetic form of the disease.

      Some forms of Parkinson’s disease can be inherited through families and can be caused by mutations in a number of genes. I don’t think the public know what form Michael has, but i would guess that it is one of these 🙂 Hope this answers your question. let me know if you would like to know anything else 😀
