• Question: What do you think would happen if you're research was successful and could cure diseases like parkinsons?

      I’d just be really pleased that my work would be able to help so many people!

      If we did find something we though could cure a diseases like Parkinsons it would have to be tested for a really long time before it could be used though. It would have to be proven to work in cell culture,and in more than one round of animal testing, and that’s before clinical trials can even start! It’s really important that we go through this process though, to make sure that any cures we develop definately work, and don’t have any nasty short or long-term side-effects.

      Maybe if I did find a cure for a disease I’d eventually win a nobel prize … that would be pretty cool! 🙂
