      The printing press.

Hello 7krakatoa7. The printing press allowed knowledge and information to be transfered in a pretty reliable form between people, and between countries. Science as we know it wouldn’t exist without it – we need to be able to share our results. Today the internet makes it very easy to do this, but in the early days of science, people communication mostly by letter. Eventually these letters became journals which started to be printed, distributing scientific knowledge throughout the world.

      Hello,

I think the best invention ever was the microscope. We would never understand about bacteria, or how our cells and bodies work if it wasn’t for this invention 🙂
