      PCR stands for ‘Polymerase Chain Reaction’ – its a way of amplifying small amounts of DNA, so that we have more to analyse, as its much easier to look at larger quantities of DNA!

      We can then use this amplified DNA in other experiments, like looking at what mutations the DNA contains, and wihch genes these mutations affect!
