      Hi

      Yes it is. If you are in deep space then the temperature is near to absolute zero which is -273 degrees celsius. If there is any matter nearby which can absorb heat from the sun (if you were in the earths orbit for example) then it would be considerably warmer. If you are in space then you want to know the temperature of space relative to you, in which case it is really blooming cold! 😉
