• Question: how long would it take for a cell to grow?#

      The cells that I grow are human blood stem cells. These cells normally take 24 hours to divide. If you took one blood stem cell and made it divide it could produce every cell you need in your blood system (white blood cells, red blood cells and platlets) in a few weeks. This is around 100 billion cells.
