It was a pretty fun job actually 🙂

I worked in the bar while I was at university – around studying and sport – to make a bit of extra money on top of my student loan. Really it was just to make sure I always had enough money for rent and food – money can be a bit tight as a student!

It was a pretty quiet pub, apart from match days, which were a bit crazy! But Igot on really well with my boss and all the other staff, and we had a lot of people who came in so regularly that I got to know them fairly well. For a part-time job that I only really took for moeny, it was a really nice environment to work in – I think a job’s so much better if you get on with the people you work with 🙂

It did help that my boss let me have free drinks after my shifts if I wanted anything,at least most of the time 😛
