I’m not personally religious, no.
I do know some scientists that are though – they just interpret their religious texts (like the Bible) in a way that fits with our scientific discoveries. Science and religion don’t have to be mutually exclusive, its just all about your own personal beliefs. 🙂

I am not religious, i think mainly because i have too many questions that need answering!
But i think (like Georgia says) that science and religion can work together. People are entitled to their own beliefs no matter what they are. i don’t think any one person has the right to say that their view point is the right one! Religion can be very comforting to people.
People shouldn’t be put off becoming a scientist because of their religious beliefs, just choose a branch of science you are comfortable with. If you don’t believe in evolution then study genetics or something 🙂 If you don’t believe in the big bang then research a new energy source…….. there is lots of choice in science for everyone 😀

Hello groverunderwood321. I’m not religious in the sense that I don’t believe in any supernatural entities or gods. I haven’t seen enough evidence to convince me of the existence of any of the gods humanity has proposed over the last few millenia.
I consider myself a humanist. I’m not sure you call it a religion as such, more like a philosophy. I don’t think we need to believe in the supernatural to live a good life. We’re capable of making our own moral judgements. I think this life is the only one we have, so we need to make the best of it. Oddly enough, I find comfort in that. Knowing that my time on earth is finite makes me appreciate it all the more.
